It only takes 5-10 minutes, and the rewards are eternal!  If you are interested in joining our scripture writing group, please go to and ask to join.  We will be writing various passages for the next 4 months, and booklets are available free of charge at the Connect Center.

Holiday Food Baskets

Every Sunday from October 15 – November 12
Join us in blessing families throughout the Rogue Valley with a holiday meal!  This year we have the privilege of partnering with Safeway and their “Turkey/Santa Bucks” program to provide meals to families who find themselves in need.  Please consider supporting this ministry by getting involved in any or all of these 5 ways.
  1. IDENTIFY:  As usual, we would like to first and foremost bless those within our congregation who find themselves in need this year.  If you or someone you know would appreciate receiving a Holiday Food Basket, please let us know by filling out the Holiday Food Basket flyer and dropping it in the offering basket.
  2. CONTRIBUTE:  Make a special donation any Sunday through November 12.  We are accepting cash or checks.  Just make your check payable to Heritage, memo it “Benevolence”, and drop it in the offering basket.
  3. VOLUNTEER:  We need your help!  Please volunteer to help transport and deliver a holiday meal.  We will share with the recipient families the love of Jesus practically (a meal) and spiritually (Gospel, prayer, encouragement, etc.).  Just drop your completed flyer in the offering basket or at the Connect Center and you will be contacted.
  4.  ENCOURAGE:  Write an encouragement card to a recipient family.  Cards are available at the Connect Center for your convenience so stop by and pick up as many as you would like to write.
  5. SAY THANK YOU:  Safeway on the corner of Stevens Street and Crater Lake Avenue in the Medford Center is making a significant contribution to this ministry.  Participate in Turkey Bucks/Santa Bucks and shop at Safeway so you can tell their employees “Thank You” for their support and generosity in helping us provide holiday meals throughout the Rogue Valley.
Once we know the dates we can pick up and deliver the baskets it will announced.  In the meantime, if you have any questions contact Judy Miller at

Read the Bible in a Year

January 1 – December 31, 2017
Want to read through the Bible this coming year? Then stop by the Connect Center and pick up a 5-day Chronological Bible Reading Plan. It lists the weekly readings and provides a place where you can check off your progress. It allows you to read the entire Bible (or just the New Testament) in one year while only reading five times a week. Five readings a week gives room to catch up or take a needed day off, and makes daily Bible reading practical and do-able. Join us this year!
