Foster the Love Holiday Gift Program

If you forgot to bring your gifts, the deadline has been extended one week through Sunday, December 17

If you accidentally forgot to bring your gift or gift card to church last Sunday, then please drop your toys or gift cards off at the Hub, or bring them at the very latest by this coming Sunday, December 17.  We are still accepting cash and check donations through this coming Sunday.  If you would like us to do your shopping for you, just make your check payable to Heritage, memo it “Benevolence – Every Child” and place it in the offering basket.  If you have any questions, please contact Lynette Hasse at everychildjackson@gmail.com or 541.621.7283, or Jessica Winney at 541.821.9976.

This year we are partnering with Every Child to “Foster the Love” and bring joy to the 526 Jackson County foster children who are living with a relative or close friend of the family. Together let’s make this a Christmas to remember! Stop by the Christmas table and learn how you can be the hands and feet of Jesus. It’s easy, here’s how…

TOY:

You have already pick a tag from the tree and purchased a toy for $25 or less for that particular child, so now place it in a Christmas gift bag, attach the tag to the gift bag, bring it to the Hub this week or place it under the tree no later than Sunday, December 17.

GIFT CARD:

Buy a $25 gift card from either Walmart, Target, or Fred Meyer. Return it to the gals at the Christmas table by December 17.

DONATIONS:
We are also accepting cash and check donations if you would like us to do your shopping for you. Just make your check payable to Heritage and memo it “Benevolence – Every Child”. Drop your donation in the offering basket, or at the Christmas table no later than December 17.

Together we can show these children that God loves them and so do we!

Write the Word

Gals, do you struggle to find time to be in the Word? Taking the time to copy scripture is a great way to slow down our brains and meditate on the words that you are reading and writing. It only takes 5-10 minutes, and the rewards are eternal! If you are interested in joining our scripture writing group, please go to https://www.facebook.com/groups/writetheword1/ and ask to join. We will be writing various passages for the next 4 months, and booklets are available free of charge at the Connect Center.
