Milestone 3 - Preparing for Adolescence

May 20, Saturday, 10:00-11:30 am, Hub

Heritage recognizes that helping children transition from childhood to adolescence is a great responsibility. Through this Milestone orientation we aim to equip parents on how to begin/continue a conversation with their child about his/her sexual development, personal boundaries, fighting sin, and expectations for spiritual growth.  Parents will learn how to lead their child on a Road Trip using the Passport2Purity Getaway Kit that will walk you through the “birds and the bees” talk from a biblical worldview.  Only
parents will attend this orientation and it is meant for parents of children in the 3rd-5th grade.  It’s FREE, but a headcount is needed so please sign up online at www.heritagefellowship.net by clicking on Ministries, Heritage Milestones, Milestone 3. Registration is open through Wednesday, May 17.  For more information, please contact Pastor Brent Cisson at brent@heritagfellowship.net.

Read the Bible in a Year

January 1 - December 31, 2017

Want to read through the Bible this coming year?  Then stop by the Connect Center and pick up a 5-day Chronological Bible Reading Plan.  It lists the weekly readings and provides a place where you can check off your progress.  It allows you to read the entire Bible (or just the New Testament) in one year while only reading five times a week.  Five readings a week gives room to catch up or take a needed day off, and makes daily Bible reading practical and do-able.  Join us this year!
