High School Ministry

Exalt

Equip

Engage

The High School Ministry at Heritage seeks to Exalt the Lord through:

  • Gospel Centrality– We ensure that the Gospel is clearly communicated as the entire point of God’s purpose in redemption.
  • Authentic Worship- We encourage authentic worship through music, art, and future vocation.
  • Kingdom Mindedness- We will orchestrate events where students are partnered with people from other churches, cultures, and age demographics.
The High School Ministry at Heritage seeks to Equip students through:

  • Encouraging Biblical Literacy– We set standards for what a student should learn by the time they graduate.
  • Encouraging Genuine Community– We will create an environment that encourages prayer, confession, student led contribution, accountability, and a sense of belonging.
  • Encouraging Discipleship– We will give practical instruction on spiritual disciplines, serving, building godly character, and friendships
  • Being Theologically Driven– We will teach students to articulate for themselves what they believe and why they believe it.
The High School Ministry at Heritage will Engage the world through:

  • Being Missional- We will give students opportunities to serve in foreign, urban, and local outreach.
  • Evangelizing– We will equip students as to how to share the gospel and provide opportunities in a variety of settings.
