Pastors/Staff

Heritage... A Gospel - Centered Church is blessed to be led by a strong group of Spirit-led men whom God has called as shepherds of His flock.  All issues of oversight pertaining to the Body at HCF are done through unanimity of its Leadership.  We believe strongly in a shared leadership structure under the ultimate oversight of our Great Shepherd, Jesus Christ.

Pastor Jeff Hensley

PastorJeffFamily(sm)Jeff is not an Oregonian by birth, though there’s no doubt he is one now at heart!  Jeff was born and raised in Asheville, North Carolina and lived there until attending North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina where he studied Engineering and Philosophy.  He married Bronwyn, and they moved to Southern Oregon in 1997 to be closer to Bronwyn’s family in Jacksonville.  In 2003, they moved to Carmen Serdan, Mexico, to lead the School of Discipleship of Applegate Christian Fellowship, to oversee the care of the orphans at the Mission and pour into the staff there.  Shortly after, they returned to the Rogue Valley where Jeff became the Children’s Ministry Pastor.  In 2004, Jeff became an assistant Pastor at Mountain Christian Fellowship in Medford, Oregon. While there Jeff led the children’s ministry and youth ministry before becoming the primary counseling and Pastoral Care Pastor.  In 2008, through the support of Pastor Jim Wright and the body and leadership at Mountain, the Lord led Jeff to launch out and begin Heritage Christian Fellowship.  Jeff and Bronwyn have two beautiful daughters. Hannah was born in 2004, and Alli in 2006.  In addition to spending time with his family, Jeff is passionate about studying God’s Word, UNC Tar Heel Basketball, and fly fishing the trout/steelhead filled waters of the Northwest.  Pastor Jeff is also currently enrolled in the Masters of Theology and Biblical Studies program at Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon.
